Authorities arrested a total of eight people at two drug busts in Zanesville.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. at 170 1/2 Brighton Boulevard and 335 Bailey Street. Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz said the city and county joint task force executed search warrants at both locations. He said three males and one female were taken into custody at the bust on Brighton Boulevard. Four males were arrested at the Bailey Street location.
One man was arrested following a drug bust Wednesday in downtown Zanesville.
It happened at 19 South 6th Street. Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz said Justin Batross was taken into custody. Lutz said batross violated his probation and also had an arrest warrant in Columbus for a felony theft, as well as an outstanding warrant in Georgia.

A mobile meth lab was discovered during a traffic stop Tuesday night in Zanesville.
According to Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz, a vehicle was pulled over around 9:20 p.m. at the Love's Travel Stop on Sonora Road.
Lt. Mike LeCocq, who made the stop, discovered during his investigation one of the occupants of the vehicle had an outstanding warrant in another county. Lt. LeCocq also found what authorities call a "rolling meth lab".

A marijuana operation was shut-down Thursday yesterday evening when a chopper spotted the grow.
