The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office raided a Zanesville home Thursday evening searching for drugs. They discovered a marijuana growing operation.

Sheriff Matt Lutz says the raid was the result of an on-going investigation into the home at 1015 Ohio Street.

In the upstairs of the home there were two growing rooms filled with marijuana.

Three people are under arrest after drug busts Monday in New Lexington.

The Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force, the Perry County Sheriff's Office and the New Lexington Police Department conducted raids at two homes.

Authorities executed search warrants at 215 Porcelain Street Apartment B and 109 Imperial Street. Agents seized marijuana, drug paraphernalia and money from the residences.

A man called a "ring-leader" after a drug bust in Adams Mills is set to change his plea.

According to federal court documents Hugo Ayala of Columbus, is set to change his not-guilty plea, which may indicate he reached a plea agreement.

Last September multiple law enforcement agencies discovered more than 5,000 marijuana plants in two separate plots in Adams Mills.

Ayala and 10 other Mexican nationals were arrested and charged with conspiracy to manufacture...

A  Zanesville father and son plead guilty to drug charges.

51-year-old Alfred Stires and 25-year-old Michael Stires both appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court  Wednesday where they each entered guilty pleas to a felony charge of cultivation of marijuana.

Assistant Prosecutor Bob Smith says in August of last year deputies from the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office discovered marijuana plants growing outside their home on Pinkerton Road.

Three Zanesville Residents were indicted on Wednesday in connection with a drug bust at a home on Pierce Street.

49-year-old Charles Workman II, 30-year-old Tekeija Kimbrough, and 46-year-old Leista Lang are all being charged after a search warrant was executed at 114 Pierce Street last Friday by the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office and the Zanesville Police Department. Cocaine, crack, cash, a gun, and drug paraphenalia were all discovered in the home.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says two suspects were taken into custody and have been charged. 31-year-old Takeija Kimbrough is facing five charges including trafficking in crack cocaine and permitting drug abuse. A Zanesville man pleads guilty in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court to charges stemming from a summer drug bust.

38-year-old John Fleming appeared before Judge Mark Fleegle where he entered the plea to several charges including two felony counts of permitting drug abuse and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Fleming was arrested in July after authorities raided an apartment at Woodberry Drive.

Zanesville Police continue their investigation into a weekend drug bust.

Police said Saturday November 20, around 8:30pm the Narcotics Unit with help from the Special Response Team and Patrol Officers executed a search warrant at a home at 725 Bates Street.

Police says the bust was a result of a several month investigation into complaints of drug activity and prostitution going on at the residence.

The Perry County Sheriff's Office arrest a woman in connection to a drug bust in Junction City.

Friday deputies with the Perry County Sheriff's Office and agents with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant at 310 Poplar Street.

Sheriff's Sgt Kevin Starrett said that the investigation was into the trafficking of methadone in front of juveniles at the residence.

Deputies aren't releasing the woman's name until formal charges are filed.

Five people are taken into custody following a drug bust in Perry County.

It happened at 6749 Monroe Township Road 1008 in Corning yesterday.

The Perry County Sheriff's Office along with agents from the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force responded to the residence after receiving reports of trafficking in heroin.
