Two people are in custody after detectives executed a search warrant in Coshocton County Thursday.

A Junction City man has been arrested on drug charges following a sting operation.

On March 23rd the Perry County Sheriff’s Office and the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested 45-year-old James C. Hanning for Illegal Assembly or Possession of Chemicals for the Manufacturing of Methamphetamine. The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office reports that around 3:45 p.m. Friday, officers executed a search warrant in the 200 block of E. 4th St. in West Lafayette.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said four people were taken into custody after a search of a home.

The search took place the morning of Wednesday, July 2 at 43388 US 36. As a result of the warrant a firearm and large amounts of drugs and cash were seized.

Law enforcement officials in Ohio are being warned of a new drug called "Gravel." The drug, which get its name from what it resembles, is a mixture of rat poison, bath salts and methamphetamine, and is migrating north from the southern part of the United States. Muskingum Behavioral Health CEO, Steve Carrell, says Gravel is a "comeback for bath salts," with very similar side effects.

A variety of drugs and a weapon was found following a routine traffic stop.

According to the Cambridge Police Department at approximately 10:21 p.m. on Friday night  officers stopped at vehicle on Highland Avenue.

Cambridge Police made two arrests for drugs following a traffic stop.

Authorities said it started on Highland Avenue around 2p.m. Thursday when officers pulled over a vehicle for a cracked windshield and a traffic violation.
