The Highway Patrol has announced the location of Friday’s (tonight’s) sobriety checkpoint. Troopers along with the Somerset Police Department will set up between 8:00 pm and 12:00 am on State Route 13 just east of U.S. Route 22 in Perry County. The checkpoint, funded by federal grants, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. Troopers say if you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol Sunday announced that Troopers will operate an OVI checkpoint this week in Muskingum County to deter and intercept imparied drivers.
