National signing day made its way to Rosecrans High School today. Aaron Parry and Zack Hill deciding to play football at division II Walsh University today, in front of their families and friends at Rosecrans High School.

Parry and Hill plan on contributing to the Walsh football program right away; Parry as a defensive end, Hill as a tight end. Both also commenting how Walsh's academeic excellence played a huge role in their decision, as both plan on majoring in biology at the North...

At Zanesville High School this afternoon, cornerback Austin Craig and Linebacker Kole Buckley signing their letter of intent to play football at Ohio Dominican University.

Buckley was a First Team ECOL player, as well as First Team All-District and Region. Kole was also the leading tackler on the Blue Devil team his Junior and Senior Year as well. Craig earned All-District, Regional, and state honors.

If you're a basketball fan in this community, you have been looking forward to this Friday night for some time. Zanesville will travel to Rogge Gymnasium to take on the Bishops in an ECOL contest. Tickets to the game will be difficult to come by; here's the information if you want to be in attendance at Rogge, which seats approximately 1,100 people:

Former Coshocton linebacker Zack Shaw told WHIZ Saturday that he expects to redshirt his first year with the Indiana Hoosiers.

Shaw, the Redskins all-time leading tackler and a former Division IV Defensive Player of the Year, did not see time on the field when IU battled the Buckeyes.  Even still, he says the experience was great.
