Farm City Day celebrated its 21rst year bringing country culture to the city Sept. 19.

The event took place at the Muskingum County Fair Grounds and people of all ages got the chance to learn about one of Ohio's commodity crops... the soy bean. Activities like story time, cooking demonstrations, and 'guess how many soy beans are in the jar' all filled the Farm City day.

Farm City Day is back in Zanesville.

The 21st annual event will bring a taste of farm life to the city by highlighting the importance of agriculture in our local economy. This year was the year of the goat at the Annual Farm City Day at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds.

The 20th annual event took place Saturday morning from nine to one. Many different breeds of goats made it to the fairgrounds. Dee Welsh is a member of the Muskingum County Goat Committee, and she brought four of her eleven goats to the event.
