Troopers say the crash between a semi and a van happened just after 4:00 a.m. Tuesday just past State Route 79. The Highway was closed for several hours after the accident, which remains under investigation.

It happened just before 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 204 and New Salem Road. When troopers arrived, they found a Pontiac G6 driven by 44-year-old Rebecca S. Silva of Thornville with heavy damage to the passenger side door and a Yamaha motorcycle driven by 56-year-old Timothy A. White of Thornville with heavy front end damage.
A West Lafayette man is dead following an accident Wednesday in Coshocton County.
According to the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office, it happened in the 20,000 block of County Road 124. The sheriff's office says a pickup truck driven by 44-year-old Bryan T. Thornsburg of West Lafayette was northbound on County Road 124 when he went left of center and struck a southbound vehicle driven by 33-year-old David J. Phillabaum of Coshocton.

It happened shortly after 3:00 p.m. on State Route 16 in Granville Township. According to the patrol, James B. Loats, 46, of Granville was traveling eastbound on State Route 16 in a 2003 Ford Taurus. His vehicle then traveled left of center and struck a 2014 Mack truck driven by 57-year-old David C. Edwards of Somerset.
