Zanesville Police say one man is dead after a single car accident on the Y-Bridge. It happened around 1:30 Thursday morning. Police say witnesses saw 28-year-old Ryan Scott MCcuen of Zanesville heading south on Linden Avenue at a high rate of speed when he drove onto the bridge, struck a wall and burst into flames. The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that happened in Fairfield County.
Authorities say around 6:13 a.m. Friday, 20-year-old Joshua Owen of Lancaster was driving west on Lithopolis Road when he drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a mailbox, utility pole and a tree.
The Ohio Department Of Transportation says I-70 Westbound and Eastbound are now open after an early morning fatal accident. It happened on I-70 Westbound near State Route 13. Both sides of the Interstate were shut down for a five of hours this morning while the accident scene was investigated. No other details have been released.

Chief Tony Shepherd said just after 4 Tuesday morning officers responding to a vehicle off the roadway at Irving Wick Drive East found the body of 59-year-old Ronald Robinson in the car.
Chief Shepherd says that firefighters and police at the scene believe Robinson may have died of a medical condition, prior to the crash, but won't know anything until an autopsy is performed by the Licking County Coroner.
