Since 2006, the United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan Counties has been providing free tax preparation services for residents. Executive director Meg Deedrick, said the free service was started to increase income for families and households in the three county region the United Way serves.

It's not dogs but kids that are learning how to fetch in the classroom.

That's "FETCH!" meaning Financial Education Teaches Children Healthy Habits. The Ohio Society of CPA's and the Ohio CPA Foundation first started the program back in 1938, but this is the first time it's reached Muskingum County.

The United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan counties is trying to help people put their money to good use.

It's offering a six week Financial Boot Camp that starts January 12th.
