Fire crews battle an early morning blaze in Zanesville.
Zanesville Police Lt. Chris Phipps said authorities responded to the fire near 131 Chapman Street around 3:30 Thursday morning. Initial scanner reports indicate a garage at the residence was fully engulfed upon arrival.
Lt. Phipps said the blaze could be the result of an act of arson.

The Zanesville Fire Department spent the early morning hours of Memorial Day fighting a house fire.
The fire took place at 702 Moxahala Avenue around 2:20a.m. Monday. The fire department said the building was subdivided into three apartments, two of which were occupied.
The building is considered a total loss. As of now, the fire remains under investigation, there's no word on where the fire started or what caused it. No injuries were reported.

Area fire departments are responding to house fire Tuesday evening in the Frazeysburg area. Initial reports indicate a structure fire at 5691 Pleasant Valley Road. There were also reports of explosions at the scene of the fire. Crews on the scene say it appears to have started in the garage and was working it ways to the home. The fire was reported at 5:30 pm.

A fire broke out Thursday evening in Cambridge.
The Captain with the Cambridge Fire Department says the fire started around 6:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Coshocton Avenue. When crews arrived the home was fully involved in flames. It took firefighters about 30-to-40 minutes to put the fire out. Crews were still on scene at 10:30 p.m. containing what was left of the building, which has been vacant for years.

The Perry County Sheriff’s Department says fire crews responded to a house fire Wednesday morning. It happened at 3147 Cooperrider’s Road which is northwest of Somerset. Initial reports described it as a large house fire with five area fire departments responding to the scene just after 7:00 a.m. There are no reports of injuries and the cause remains under investigation.

The fire broke out around 4 p.m. Friday at 3000 Moxadarla Drive Lot # 16.
Heavy smoke and flames could be seen coming from the roof of the structure.
Initial reports indicate all of the residents inside the home were able to escape safely.
Crews from South Zanesville, Roseville, Crooksville and Newton Township responded to the scene.
