Area fire departments battled a structure fire this morning.
It happened at 3770 Frazeysburg Road near Northpointe Drive. Lieutenant Joe Hunt of the Falls Township Fire Department said the call come into the station around 10:50 a.m. with possible entrapment inside the home.
Lt. Hunt said the damage on the fire floor was moderate to severe. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

A garage fire gave firefighters a little bit of a scare Saturday night.
It happened just before 10:30 p.m. at 1088 Wayne Avenue. Zanesville Assistant Fire Chief David Huey said he received a call that an elderly woman was trapped inside, but fortunately, that wasn't the case.

The cause of a house fire in Frazeysburg is under investigation.
The Frazeysburg Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call around 11:30 Saturday night at 12290 West Carlisle Road. When firefighters arrived on scene, the home was fully engulfed in flames.

A Washington Township mobile home was destroyed in a fire Monday evening.
The fire broke out around 7:15 p.m. at 113 Eastwood Drive. Firefighters from the Washington Township and Zanesville Fire Departments responded to the scene and worked quickly to prevent the fire from spreading to other nearby homes.
"It always is when you come to the trailer park. It can jump from one to the other," says Chief Gene Hanning, Washington Township Fire Department.
Larry Waltz's Ohio Pottery store has been reduced to a charred pile of ash and steel.
