Last season saw the Maysville Panthers get to the playoffs for the first time in the schools history. Sadly though the season ended one game into the postseason. With a talented group of skill players coming back the Panthers once again will try to find their way into week 11, but a young offensive line will have to gel for that to happen.

Before Justin Buttermore took over at Tri-Valley, the Scotties had 15 winning seasons in 54 years. Since Buttermore's arrival, the Dawgs have had four winning seasons and three playoff appearances. There are some droughts that people would love to see end. There is the 56-year streak since Cleveland has seen a pro sports championship. In Pittsburgh, fans would love to see 18 consecutive losing seasons come to an end for the pirates, and in New Concord John Glenn fans would love to see that 30-year MVL titleless streak be snapped, but thats not all they hope for as Jeremy Rauch reports.
