The Ohio Bobcats finally opened up the home portion of their schedule Saturday night, taking down Idaho 36-24. Bobcats starting quarterback Derrius Vick helped guied Ohio to a 17-0 lead before getting hurt and not returing. JD Sprague entered the game in his play and filled in well, going 8-13 for 167 yards. Bishop Rosecrans has been using the facilities at Zanesville High School for home football games, but that will change in a couple of years.

In celebration of the start of a new school year, the high school is planning a bunch of activities for students and staff, and it starts with their first home football game.
