The Fraternal Order of Police gathered on the green Aug. 9.

The Associates Lodge of Fraternal Order of Police had one of their favorite charitable events this evening.

The annual 'Shop with a Cop' was held at the North Zanesville Walmart for 50 local children in need for warm clothing and Christmas presents. The event is a good opportunity for officers to build positive relationships with children who may have only seen cops during a negative or stressful time.

Children had the opportunity to do some holiday shopping with the help of local law enforcement.

The Associates Lodge of Fraternal Order of Police hosted their annual "Shop with a Cop" event at Walmart North in Zanesville. The local chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police swore in it's officers for 2011 Thursday evening.

The Muskingum County FOP hosted a sit down dinner and ceremony at Prophets Park Thursday evening to swear in existing and new members of the organization. One Muskingum County organization is continuing a long time holiday tradition.

The Fraternal Order of Police hosted its annual senior holiday dinner. Volunteers from the FOP donated their time to help serve a warm meal to more than 1200 senior citizens.

A somber ceremony takes place at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge as law enforcement honor fallen officers.
