The community came together to support a local man through one of his toughest times.

Friends of Terry Kline put together a car and truck show to raise money for the medical expenses he acquired after recently undergoing an extensive surgery.

"Terry is amazing a very hard worker. He works for Dollar General and he had open heart surgery, and they are just a little bit down of their finances and we are just trying to help them," said Hope the Clown.

The Dresden Swim Center is owned by the Longaberger Company and they're looking to sell it to the Village of Dresden by this fall.

"The village has leased this pool from Longaberger for the past 10 years and now the village is looking to purchase the pool from Longaberger this summer," said Samantha Mizer, Manager of the Dresden Swim Center. "Lil Bear is a knit wear fair trade, 100% fair trade knitwear company. I purchase fair trade yarns from third worlds to impure women out of poverty. And I am a designer. I design with it. Heartbeats is a non-profit life-affirming pregnancy center. They offer free services like pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling, and a 30-day supply of prenatal vitamins for women who get a positive pregnancy test.
