You may never have heard of mitochondrial disease, but every 30 minutes a child is born with the illness.

One local school is raising money in a unique way-donkey basketball. Yes, you read it right.

The Philo High School Baseball Team hosted a Donkey Basketball Tournament tonight at the home of the Electrics.

One local restaurant is helping families around the area, who might not even know it.

The Bob Evans restaurant on Underwood Street held a fundraiser tonight, donating fifteen-percent of it's proceeds to the Carr Center's speech therapy program.

One local elementary school is doing its part to help Bosco.

The students at Nashport Elementary raised a total of one thousand five dollars in two weeks for the injured K-9. Kendra stephens says its important for the kids to take part in their community.

Stephens says "These kids will always whenever they hear the name bosco they will know they were apart of helping him out with his bills and that makes people feel important. "
