After years of planning and building, the $200 million project at Genesis is coming to a close.

Genesis Healthcare System patients now have the ability to access many of their personal health records securely with just a click of a mouse.

Genesis HealthCare System is moving forward with its planning for the new medical center.

The $125 million facility will be built on the grounds of Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville.  Chief Development Officer Alan Burns said Genesis HealthCare System is reaching out to local contractors.

The Genesis HealthCare Foundation is well on its way to reaching a fundraising goal for a new medical center.

Sudden cardiac arrest takes about 300,000 lives every year, but Genesis is trying to lower that statistic.

The healthcare system is donating 18 automated external defibrillators to 15 area school districts.  Chest Pain and Heart Failure Coordinator Cathy Huggins said cardiac arrest can strike anyone without warning.

Genesis Healthcare System honored its volunteers with a banquet and awards ceremony Thursday evening.

All week long as part of National Volunteer Week, Genesis has been honoring those who have donated their time in a variety of capacities.
