Genesis Healthcare Systems kicked off their 33rd annual Pro-Am Golf Tournament at the Zanesville Country Club on Friday.

Captain Tony Coury says the Zanesville Police Department has been getting in numerous complaints from residents who live near the Bethesda campus complaining about the construction trucks driving down the side streets instead of Maple Avenue.

As construction at Bethesda continues, the hospital is asking employees and patients for input on how to create the most efficient room.

There are some alarming new statistics out that you might want to pay attention to ...especially during this heat wave.

David Davis, the Director of Emergency and Trauma Nursing at the Genesis Good Samaritan campus, says in 2013 alone, 20 children have died from being left in a car in the United States. And with the heat advisory in our area, he wants to remind everyone not to leave their children in the car.

As part of the construction of the new medical center at the Bethesda campus, the emergency department will officially close on June 30 and all emergencies will be directed to the Good Samaritan Campus.

Local children learned the laws of the road Saturday.

It's Bicycle Awareness Week and in honor of that, Genesis Trauma Services had a bicycle safety day. Starting Monday, a fence will be put up around the Emergency Department at the Bethesda Campus to start the new expansion of the hospital. The Emergency Department will remain open and patients can enter through the main entrance of the hospital.
