Girls Soccer-- Division II District Final

River View 0 West Holmes 1 [F/ET]

Despite out-shooting the Lady Knights, River View suffered their fifth and final loss of the year in extra time, while the Knights won their first district title. The golden goal was scored by Jordan Buchanan.

Division I Sectional at Tri-Valley

Westerville South 7 - Tri-Valley 0

Tri-Valley's season comes to an end with a tough loss to Westerville South.  The Scotties fell behind 4-0 at halftime and couldn't respond with a victory.  Tri-Valley finishes the year 12-5 overall, with an undefeated, untied league record.

Rosecrans 1 - Philo 1

Rosecrans' winning streak came to an end after a 1-1 draw against Philo.  Both the Bishops (6-0-1) and Electrics (2-0-2) are still unbeaten on the year.  Philo jumped in front early and held onto its lead until late in the second half.  After a missed chance from Logan Lazar, Johnny MacLean finally broke through for the Bishops with five minutes to play in the match.

Labor Day Showcase @ River View Soccer Complex

West Muskingum 2 - Ridgewood 0

West Muskingum was too much to handle in the first game of the Labor Day Showcase.  The Tornadoes totaled 22 shots on goal, while giving up only two to Ridgewood in a 2-0 win.

Rosecrans 3 - Lakewood 1

(HEBRON) -- Rosecrans continued its unbeaten streak, though its scoreless stretch did come to an end, in a 3-1 win over Lakewood Saturday. 

Logan Lazar, as he has all season, led the way for the Bishops.  The senior registered two goals, bringing his season total to eight tallies.  Johnny MacLean also found the back of the net for his fourth goal of the year.
