The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle accident.

Authorities said it took place on State Route 79 near O'Neil Drive just north of the Hebron City Limits around 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

Two people were taken to Grant Medical Center in Columbus by helicopter Monday afternoon following an accident in Licking County.

According to the Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3 p.m. on State Route 79 over Interstate 70 in Union Township.

Troopers say a Ford pick-up heading north on State Route 79 struck a John Deere tractor that was also heading northbound.

State Route 13 between Interstate 70 and Thornville is now open after an accident closed the roadway Thursday morning.

Dispatchers with the Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol said the accident took place around 8:45a.m. on State Route 13 at Maple Street, south of Edgewater, when two vehicles hit head on.

The patrol said the drivers of the vehicles were taken to Licking Memorial Hospital. Their injuries are unknown at this time and the crash remains under investigation.

State Patrol Troopers investigate a fatal accident in Licking County.

The accident took place on Raccoon Valley Road west of Louden Street in Granville Township around 1:10 Sunday afternoon.

Troopers said 37-year-old Richard Hardy of Columbus was driving his 2004 Ford Escape west on Raccoon Valley Road when it went off the right side of the roadway in a curve. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment, striking a culvert where it then overturned and ejected Hardy.

An 11-year-old boy is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon in Licking Township. According to a dispatcher with the Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol, the boy was riding his bike on County Road 668 around 3:30 when he was hit by the vehicle in between Blue Jay and Dodds Roads. The boy was taken to Children's Hospital in Columbus. The crash is under investigation.

Four people were taken by Medflight and four others hospitalized following an accident Monday evening in Licking County.

It happened at the intersection of State Routes 13 and 657, just north of Newark around 6 p.m.
