At the start of the season, Rosecrans head coach Todd Rock said there would be at least a few blemishes on the Bishops record after 20 regular season games. The first time Zanesville and Tri-Valley squared off, the Blue Devils cruised to a 20 point victory. Tuesday night in Dresden was a much different tale. After scoring only 30 points in the entire game January Eighth at Zanesville, the Scotties had 31 with 1:39 remaining in the third quarter, taking a nine point lead into the final frame. For a senior, winning your final game at home is important. For a Zanesville basketball senior, winning every home game is expected. Seniors Tanner Gibson, Cole Carpenter, Rian Burrell, Josh Barker and Krandall Brantley got it done on senior night, beating Columbus St. Francis DeSales 49-46, in one of the few games all season where the Stallions have been at full strength.
