 In Guernsey County election results Joel Blue defeated Michael G Groh in the race for the Republican Primary Race for prosecuting attorney. 

Blue beat Groh 3,047 votes to 2,744 he'll face Democrat Kent Biegler in November. 

In the Republican race for County Engineer Paul E. Sherry defeated Del George by 88 votes.

Senecaville Village additional street improvements and maintenance for 5 mills levy failed by six votes.

In the race for Cambridge City Council at Large, Tim Evancho, Thomas Laughman and Bryan Conaway were elected.

Jeff Leonard defeated Charles Drubel by more than 60 votes in the race for Cambridge City Council 1st Ward.

John Wolverton defeated Tom Snyder in the race for Cambridge City Council 3rd Ward.

Jay Jackson was elected Mayor of Byesville beating out Marj Warner, Ray Watson and George Emerick.

The winning candidate for the first ward council in Cambridge is Paul Fields Jr. defeating Art Clemenson and Christina Drubel. The winning candidate for the third ward council is Tom Snyder beating out Bill Wagstaff.

There were four candidates elected to Senecaville Council; Heidi Cunningham, Richard Lynch Sr., Frank Arthurs and Jacqueline Rothschuh.

Cambridge School Board has three new members including James Gibson, Paul Arick, and Dan Carpenetti. The same...

In the race for Guernsey County commissioner, Democrat Dave Salt defeated Republican Randy Mercer.

In the other commissioner race, Republican Ernest Gardner Jr. defeated Democrat Steve Allen.

Republican Colleen Wheatley defeated Democrat Ronald Gombeda by nearly 4,000 votes in the Guernsey County recorder race.

In the Guernsey County treasurer race Republican James Caldwell won, defeating Democrat Darlene Miser.
