The businesses and art galleries in the Masonic Temple Building in Zanesville are joining together for a trick-or-treat event this week.

It will take place Friday, October 31 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Natasha Oliver an artist in the TAC Studio said they are not doing this to compete with Zanesville's trick-or-treat on the 30th but to provide a safe, controlled atmosphere where kids are guaranteed to get the most out of trick-or-treat.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office is getting ready for Halloween by checking on sex offenders and advising them not to give out candy. Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says there are 152 registered sex offenders in Muskingum County and says deputies are paying close attention to them.

You have your usual costumes...super heroes, princesses, witches, and vampires. But some non-traditional Halloween costumes caught our eyes around Zanesville Sunday evening.

76 people are arrested after the Annual Halloween Block Party in Athens, and 63 of those individuals were taken to the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.

Local authorities say the crowd was larger than in years past and remained a good size throughout the night.

It's an excuse for kids to get decked out in their Halloween-best, while bringing a sense of pride to one Zanesville neighborhood.
