Heath Police said one person was injured in an accident involving two vehicles and a semi truck.

Authorities said they responded to 1990 Hebron Road in the area of RCD Sales just before 4:30 pm Monday. Officials said 22-year-old Mara Gould was flown to a Columbus area hospital.

Heath Police reported the investigation is pending and no citations have been issued.

A Newark Police Officer is recovering following an accident Tuesday morning.

Police Chief Steven Sarver said that Heath Police were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle near Calburn Street when they requested assistance from Newark Police Officer Michael Trotter.

Trotter began to respond while southbound in the area of 1542 Horns Hill Road when he lost control of his cruiser on wet pavement and struck a utility pole.

The Heath Police Department is searching for a woman who fled a car accident following a police chase.

Around 2:30 Friday afternoon Heath police officers responded to a report of a suspicious man and woman near the Hobby Lobby and Target. Officers located the two in a Purple PT Cruiser near the Indian Mound Mall. The two led police on a chase that lasted 7.9 miles and ended when the car lost control near Flint Ridge Road. Heath Police respond to an accident with injuries early Wednesday morning. Police said that minutes after 1a.m., 46-year-old Timothy Nethers of Newark was traveling north on Franklin Drive when he failed to yield at a stop sign and struck a vehicle by Leigh Ault which was traveling west on Hopewell Drive.

Both drivers were taken to Licking Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries that were not believed to be life threatening. Alcohol is suspected but the investigation continues at this...

The Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for informaton leading to an arrest in a break in and theft at a Heath business.

The Heath Police Department reports on February 5, someone broke into the Newark Heath Car Care at 419 S. 22nd St. and caused major damage to the building and two parked vehicles. Police say a truck was also stolen from the business.

The stolen truck is described as a 2000 Chevy black Z71 pick-up truck.
