Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a burglary at a business Monday that led to a standoff.

Heath Police responded to the scene at 2337 Hebron Road and observed 46-year-old Charles Logan inside the business. 

Units formed a perimeter to hold him inside the building. Officials later obtained information he was armed with a firearm.

The Heath Police Department needs your help in identifying two suspects.

Authorities said these thieves are responsible for stealing credit cards from random victims at the Indian Mound Mall on October 13, 2015. 

The victims worked at different stores inside the mall. One suspect distracted the victims while the other looked for purses, wallets and credit cards to steal from either behind the cash counter or in the employees break area.

An early morning accident in Heath resulted in two people being transported to the hospital by Life Flight.

Shortly before 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning, the Heath Police Department responded to an accident in the area of 1470 Thornwood Drive.  Police say the vehicle involved was southbound on Thornwood when it veered left, exited the roadway and went through a yard before striking a tree.

 The Heath Police Department is investigating an early Saturday morning incident where suspects shot at vehicles.

Police said just before 1a.m. Saturday they responded to the Quickway at 680 Keller Drive in reference to someone firing shots at vehicles and employees.

Witnesses said that a small silver car, possibly a Ford Focus, stopped on Keller Drive and fired a shot at one vehicle and one employee.

The Licking County Crime Stoppers are offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a case of identity theft.

The Heath Police Department reports, on July 24th, a suspect used a fake ID and credit card in a northeast Ohio man’s name to purchase a Sony PlayStation 4 from the Best Buy in Heath.

During the investigation, police learned the suspect has committed similar crimes throughout central Ohio.

Two motorcycles and a car involved in an accident early Saturday. 

The Heath Police Department reported that a car and two motorcycles collided at the intersection of S.R. 79 and Irving Wick Dr. E. The police department reports the call came in at 2:56 p.m. Saturday. One of the motorcyclists was seriously injured and was Air Lifted to the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. Police are not releasing any further information at this time.

Shortly after 12:00 p.m. Saturday, the Heath Police Department responded to a car versus motorcycle injury accident. 

The accident occurred near Mathew's Ford on Hopewell Drive. Shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday Heath Police and Fire Departments responded to a single car injury accident near 1500 Blue Jay Road. 

According to the Heath Police Department, it is possible that all three of the passengers were ejected from the vehicle. Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in property damage at several businesses located on Hebron Road in Heath.

The Heath Police Department reports that on Dec. 31, 2014 a little before 11:00 p.m. suspect(s) damaged windows at the Hobby Lobby, the Sprint store, AutoZone, Dollar Tree and Tire Discounters.

Last week we told you that Heath Police were searching for 24-year-old Jacob Rey.

Rey was the suspect involved in a purse snatching that occured Tuesday morning at Giant Eagle. Rey was arrested by the Reynoldsburg Police Department Tuesday after responding to a complaint at Walmart. Rey attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended, identified and detained for the Heath Police Department. He is currently incarcerated at the Licking County Justice Center.
