West Muskingum scored all of its points in the 4th quarter en route to a 13-7 victory over John Glenn at Whirlwind Stadium. Cameron Strauss scored both touchdowns for the Tornadoes, including the 55-yard game-winner on a pass from Gunner Hazen.

 The Zanesville High School football team is starting their new season with an old tradition.

As a team bonding before the big home game against Newark this Friday, the team and coaches walked from the high school after practice to Honey Baked Ham on Maple Avenue for a "family meal".

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The high school football state championships will remain in Ohio Stadium in Columbus for an additional year, through 2016, the Ohio High School Athletic Association announced Tuesday jointly with the Greater Columbus Sports Commission.

The announcement comes as details are being finalized for the 2015 state championships, which include a public all-session ticket sale date of Monday, Aug. 17 for the seven state championship games (see details below)....
