Two World War II Veterans are being honored by a national organization with a trip to visit their war memorial in the nation's capital.

Ray Harper and Bill Kostelnik were selected by the Honor Flight Network, a non-profit organization, to fly out to Washington D.C. to visit the World War II Memorial.

This trip will not only be the 86-year-old Harper's first time on an airplane, but also to the nation's capital.

World War Two Survivors are given a once in a life time chance to visit and reflect at their memorial.

Non-profit organization, "Honor Flight" has one goal-to bring American Veterans to Washington DC. The program began in Dayton. Co-Directors Bill and Bobbi Richards adopted the project into the Columbus area and have been flying veterans since 2007.
