The Newark Police Department says that more than 90 acts of vandalism were reported to their office early Sunday Morning.

According to Newark Police Sergeant, Burt Gliatta at approximately 8:30 a.m., residents began to call in to the station to report damages to both their cars and homes.

The Cambridge Fire Department is continuing their investigation of a condemned house fire in Cambridge.

The fire department says that they responded to a structure fire located at 137 South 12th St. at approximately 8:19 p.m. Saturday night.

A Cambridge man is dead following a house fire.

It happened around 9 p.m. at 430 North 9th Street.

Several crews, totaling 45 individuals, were called to the scene to tackle the blaze. The Cambridge Fire Chief says it started in the center of the old home and worked its way up, causing extreme damage to the attic. A Somerset family lost its home to fire over the weekend. The Muskingum Valley Red Cross is helping Don King and Cheryl Toppins who lived at 5385 Township Road 398-A in Perry County. The home is considered a total loss. The Red Cross is helping the couple with funding to go shopping for clothes, food and temporary housing. Fire Departments from Glenford-Hopewell Township, Somerset and Thorn Township responded to the scene on Sunday.

A South Zanesville home is a total loss after a late night fire.

It happened around 10:45 p.m. at 1920 Quincy Road.

The Red Cross says several crews responded to the scene to battle a fire that started in the attic.

It says it is providing aid to Richard Irvin and two other occupants in the home.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
