The Zanesville Fire Department will continue flushing hydrants on the north end of town Wednesday.

Hydrant flushing will take place on streets south of Taylor, north of Adair and west of Maple Avenue. This will include Ohio University Zanesville-Zane State, Adams Lane and Blue Avenue.

Flushing will be from 7:30-2:30 p.m. Residents in these areas may experience discolored water and reduced pressure.

 The Zanesville Fire Department's hydrant flushing will pick up again on Monday. 

Hydrant flushing will take place on streets east of Maple Avenue. This includes Taylor, Norwood, Euclid, Sheridan and adjoining streets. 

Flushing will be from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

Residents in these areas may experience discolored water and reduced pressure. It's advised to wait until after 4 p.m. for the water to clear before doing laundry.

The Zanesville Fire Department says it will continue its fire hydrant flushing on Thursday. Assistant Chief Eric Waltemire says that areas included are West Main Street, Licking Road, Linden Avenue and Taylor Street east of Dresden Road and all side streets. The work starts at 7:30 in the morning and continues until 2:30 in the afternoon. Residents in those areas should refrain from doing laundry until 4 p.m.

The Zanesville Fire Department will flush hydrants beginning Wednesday, May 29 in several areas.

The department reports they'll flushing hydrants on Muskingum, Woodlawn, Putnam and Moxahala and all adjoining streets.

Flushing will be from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Residents in the area may experience discolored water and reduced pressure.

It's advised to wait until after 4p.m.

For the water to clear before doing laundry.

The New Concord Water Department reported they'll be flushing fire hydrants on Tuesday, May 28.

The hydrant flushing will take place between 8-3 p.m.

Customers throughout the village may experience discolored water and should not do laundry until the water clears.

The Zanesville Fire Department will be flushing hydrants along adjoining streets south of Pine Street on Tuesday, May 28th.

This will include Westwood, Maysville, Arch and June Parkway.

Flushing will be from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Residents in these areas may experience discolored water and reduced pressure.

It is advised to wait until after 4:00 p.m. for the water to clear before doing laundry.

Zanesville Fire Department's Deputy Chief Eric Waltemire said they'll continue flushing hydrants in the City of Zanesville, Thursday.

Roadways affected include south of Greenwood Avenue, east of Wayne Avenue, Wayne Avenue, Sharon Avenue and Marietta.

He said all adjoining streets off those roadways will also be affected. Waltemire said the hydrant flushing will take place between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The Zanesville Fire Department will be flushing the hydrants around Zanesville for the next few days.

Starting tomorrow, from 7:30 a.m.. to 2:30 p.m.., ZFD will be focusing on the east end of Zanesville. From the water treatment plant, down by Underwood, and north of Greenwood Avenue.

 The Zanesville Fire Department announces it will begin their annual hydrant flushing throughout the city starting Wednesday, May 15.

Officials said work will begin on the east end of town which will include parts of Underwood, Eastman and Hamline. Normal hours for maintenance will be 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The Zanesville Water Department says some customers may lose service on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Superintendent Paul Mills says crews will be hydrant flushing around the Center Drive area.  Work starts at 8:30 in the morning and will be completed by 3:00 in the afternoon each day.  Mills says the following areas will experience low water pressure, no water or discolored water during the flushing:  Center Drive, West Drive, Carol Drive, Rankin Drive, Parkview Drive, East...
