The Granville Post is on the scene of an accident involving four vehicles.

A dispatcher said that the accident on Interstate 70 west near Buckeye Lake exit involved at least one commercial vehicle and was reported to authorities just before 5:30 Monday morning.

The Licking County Sheriff's Office said Interstate 70 eastbound was closed for a short time Canal Road after an accident Friday morning.

The accident took place around 6:30 a.m. when one vehicle rolled over and pinned in a person inside. The sheriff's office said road conditions factored into the crash.

According to buckeyetraffic.org motorists were detoured onto State Route 37 to US 40. The Westbound lanes of the interstate have also been reopened.

Traffic was at a stand still on Interstate 70 earlier this evening after a vehicle lost control and then went into oncoming traffic.

According to Ohio State Highway Patrol Sergeant Kay Perkins, shortly after 5 o'clock a 29 year-old Byesville woman was on her way to school heading West Bound on 70 when she lost control, went over the median, and landed on the east bound side.

A major roadway is shut down following an early Thursday morning accident.

The State Highway Patrol Cambridge Post said that Interstate 70 eastbound is closed in Cambridge at mile post 179, that's just east of the State Route 209 interchange.

In addition the interstate is not accessible from State Route 209.

The patrol said the road is closed due to a crash between a semi truck and a car that occurred around 1:50 a.m. Thursday morning.

One person is dead and both lanes of Interstate 70 westbound closed following a crash Wednesday afternoon.

It happened shortly before 2:30 in Guernsey County, six miles east of Cambridge.

An accident on I-70 pits a car versus a semi tractor trailer.

It happened at about 8 p.m. near mile marker 162.

Perry Township and New Concord Fire Departments responded to the scene.

It shut Interstate 70 eastbound down to one lane.

The Panesville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating.

The State Highway Patrol says one vehicle was involved in three separate crashes Monday night.

State Highway Patrol Trooper Mackenzie says that a Ford Contour was traveling west on Interstate 70 near the Norwich exit around 10:20 when the vehicle made contact with another vehicle, a Chevy station wagon also traveling west.

The driver of the Ford fled the scene, took the next exit hitting a guardrail and then continued toward her home, hitting a mailbox before troopers could catch...
