Travel along Interstate 70 westbound near New Concord is back to normal after an semi accident yesterday that caused a hazardous chemical spill.
The clean-up efforts lasted almost half a day, and Muskingum County EMA Deputy Director, Jeff Jadwin, says he's happy with how crews handled the situation. Jadwin says the only complaint he got was from the state about how long the interstate remained closed.

The case of a man found dead on Interstate 70 is now closed.
Lt. Lawrence Roseboro with the Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol says that the death of 62-year-old Laurence Shelly has been ruled suicide by the LIcking County Coroner.
Lt. Roseboro says the coroner's report indicates that Shelly was killed by a single gunshot wound to the head. The Patrol says Shelly was found beside the westbound lane of Interstate 70 between Ohio 158 and Ohio 37 with a gun nearby...
The State Highway Patrol is reporting that a semi is on its side on Interstate 70 near the exit to State Route 93. Troopers say that a westbound lane was closed while crews cleaned up the scene, that lane has sinced reopened.
Wet roads are being blamed for an early morning accident in Zanesville that sent one woman to the hospital.
Around 8:45 emergency crews responded to a rollover accident on Interstate 70 near the Adamsville exit.
