A combined investigation between Zanesville Police and the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office lands one man in jail. Sheriff Matt Lutz says 30-year-old Jerome Johnson – also known as J-Roc – is facing one count each of trafficking in cocaine, fleeing and eluding and tampering with evidence. A 40-year-old man pleads guilty to eight counts in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

A Zanesville man is facing drug charges after the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office seized almost 1,000 grams of cocaine and 100 grams of crack.

Timothy Johnson was taken into custody around five p.m. Friday night after Sheriff Matt Lutz says a scheduled stop was made off Maple Avenue.

A Zanesville man, who police report was armed while going up and down a local neighborhood Saturday, is caught.
