The Former assistant fire chief of the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department was arraigned in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Monday morning. 

Adam Siddle faces a combined 16 counts of theft, telecommunications fraud, forgery and money laundering. The charges stem from a six month investigation, and all together, Siddle is charged with the theft of nearly $1 million. Timothy Daniel has spent the last three months in county jail and now he'll spend the rest of his life in prison.

Daniel, who was found guilty in January of aggravated murder for fatally shooting Charles Hooper in the South Zanesville Burger King, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole plus 14 years for three other charges. Judge Mark Fleegle took Daniel's prior criminal history into account, and called him the worst type of offender there is...

A Zanesville man enters pleas to several charges including robbery. 

In Muskingum County Common Pleas Court on Monday, 38-year-old Teddie Hunter plead guilty to one count of robbery and a second amended robbery count. Three other charges will be dropped at the time of sentencing. 

Judge Mark Fleegle ordered a pre-sentence investigation in the case and continued Hunter's bond.

A Zanesville man will spend four years in prison for crimes connected to a July drug bust.

Judge Mark Fleegle sentenced 41-year-old Anthony Williams to prison on possession of drugs and two counts of having a weapon while under disability.

Williams pled guilty to the crimes in September. He also had to pay a fine of $7,500 and must forfeit any weapons and be on post release control for three years once released from prison.
