Tax day is on the way, but Operation Feed is giving you a reason to smile as you file your return.

The United Way's annual sub sale as part of Operation Feed is coming up on April 15, but orders are now being taken for the sale. Executive Director of Christ's Table, Keely Warden, said the sale is a way to enjoy tax day.

Last year the Muskingum County Hunger Network served nearly 940,000 meals.

The network, which consists of 15 food pantries and four hot meal programs is kicking off its 35th annual Operation Feed event. It's an event to promote the giving spirit of Muskingum County. Christ's table's bi-annual "Stuff the Truck" event is this weekend.

Due to cold weather and school closings Christ's Table needs your help now more than ever.

During the winter months donations at Christ's Table tend to be lacking. Thanks to the Farmers and Hunters Feeding The Hungry program (F.H.F.H.), this winter hundreds of families will go to bed well fed.

Christmas Day brings many family gatherings and cozy dinners around the dining room table, but for some, there may not be family to turn to or a warm meal to enjoy during the holiday.

One local dentist's office is giving many something to smile about this week.

For the last four years now, Tune Up Your Smile has been offering $25 procedures to those in the community. Every dollar raised at the event will be matched and given back to Christ's Table.  Starting at 6 a.m. Thursday, November 27th, Christ's Table volunteers were busy at work preparing for their annual Thanksgiving meal.

Over 500 meals were prepared for Christ's Table patrons. 250 home-bound meals were sent out, and over 250 people were served the classic holiday meal on location. The menu consisted off all the holiday favorites like turkey, stuffing, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, and of course pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
