 The Nelson T. Gant Foundation came together to celebrate the former slave's birthday and his impact on the local community.

A merging of cultures took place at Zane State college on Friday.

The college held its 22nd Annual Ethnic Food Fair in the memory and celebration of Martin Luther King Junior's life and legacy. The Cultural Outreach Coordinator for the event says that she thinks Doctor King would be proud.
