Visitors at the Longaberger Festival are receiving a special surprise. 

Former Cleveland Browns Football Player Kevin Mack was on site to sign autographs. Mack was a runningback for the team from 1985-1993. 

"I also knew they had gone into agreement with the NFL and they're printing NFL baskets longaberger style, so it's kind of cool," said Kevin Mack.

The Longaberger Company is cutting 35 full-time positions. Company spokesman Tom Matthews says most of the people affected were those with professional and supervisory positions from all aspects of the business. The cut occurred Tuesday and Wednesday of last week. But the employees were paid through Friday. Matthews says Longaberger is suffering from a still weakened economy just like every other business and it’s trying to run in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Women from across the country are receiving a message of hope. Tami Longaberger invited 120 people, mostly breast cancer survivors, to attend her annual "Think Pink" luncheon at her home.

To Kay Cox, being diagnosed with breast cancer over a year ago didn't seem possible. She had no family history of it, but one visit with her doctor changed her life forever.

We have more details tonight concerning a major change at the Longaberger Company we first told you about Friday night.

Robin Crossman, who had been with the company for seven months, was let go sometime last week. Spokesman Tom Matthews says Chief Executive Officer, Tami Longaberger, made the decision. He say she was not satisfied with the performance of the company and those duties fall to the president.

Tami and a management team will now share those duties.

The Longaberger Company is in a time of transition.

The Newark Advocate is reporting that Company President Robin Crossman was let go earlier this week. Crossman was initially hired last fall. The Newark Advocate cites that the daughter of founder Dave Longaberger, Tami Longaberger, made the decision.

It says Crossman will make the sixth president the company has let go in seven years.

There is something lucrative happening in the village of Dresden.

Today was the annual Basket Happening at Tri-Valley High School. For Longaberger basket fans, they may have though they died and went to heaven.

The Longaberger Company today announced that it’s calling back 50 basketmakers. Company Chief Executive Officer Tami Longaberger says the move is in response to strong sales of its new National Football League and Collegiate lines and to help build inventory for what is expected to be an improved holiday season.
