Zanesville Police investigate the robbery of a local gas station.
Lt. Chris Phipps said the incident happened at the BP Gas Station at Maple and Forest Avenues just after midnight Wednesday.
Phipps said not much information is being released at this time, but two people are in custody.

Zanesville Police investigate a possible shooting that took place early Tuesday morning.
Lt. Chris Phipps said the incident took place at the Little Tijuana Bar on the corner of Ridge and Mead Streets. It was reported to authorities just before 2a.m.
Lt. Phipps said at this time they've been unable to locate a victim and the case is still under investigation.

Zanesville Police said they're investigating an accidental shooting that took place at a local car dealership.
Lt. Chris Phipp's said an ambulance was dispatched to Jeff Drennen's on Maple Avenue for an unknown hand injury around 3:22 p.m. Tuesday.
Phipps said when the ambulance arrived they called police to inform them the injury was actually a self inflicted gunshot wound to the hand.

We told you Wednesday about a missing bull in Muskingum County that was freed when a vehicle crashed into a power pole on Wayne Avenue at Arcadia.
The crash allowed the animal to escape from the trailer.
Well, that bull is still on the loose and was spotted just after 1:00 a.m. Thursday. Zanesville Police said a motorist at first thought they were seeing a horse walking in the middle of Wayne Avenue until the driver realized it was in fact the missing bull.

A bull is on the loose in Muskingum County.
Zanesville Police said that around 10:30p.m. Tuesday a vehicle hit a power pole on Wayne Avenue and Arcadia and the bull escaped from the trailer.
Police Lt. Chris Phipps said the bull is black and because of the darkness became hard to see. As of Wednesday morning the bull is still missing.

The Zanesville Police Department is investigating a possible shooting incident early Wednesday morning.
Lieutenant Chris Phipps said police officers recovered about eight bullet casings on Lee Street in Zanesville around 4:30 a.m. The Lieutenant said there were no witnesses, and there are no suspects at this time.
No further details have been released, as the incident remains under investigation.

Zanesville Police said a Thursday night accident led to one arrest and many being left without power.
Lt. Chris Phipps said it happened around 11 p.m. when a driver was traveling north on State Street and lost control of his vehicle, crashing it into a power pole at the Blue Avenue Speedway.
The accident knocked out power for several hours. At one time American Electric reported that over 300 of its customers without service.

Zanesville Police investigated an early morning accident on Putnam Avenue.
Police said that around 1:40 Wednesday morning a car drove into the M&M Pawn Shop.
Lt. Chris Phipps said that no one was hurt and there was no damage done to the building. Lt. Phipps said the driver will probably be cited, but won't know until the paper work is completed.

Some of Zanesville's Police Officers were promoted to new ranks and positions Friday.
Around 1 p.m. Friday afternoon at the Zanesville Police Department, four officers received promotions ranging from Sergeant to Captain.
Patrolman Jon McCoy was promoted to Sergeant, while Sergeants Chris Phipps and Chris Rice who were promoted to Lieutenant, and Lieutenant Tony Coury was promoted to Captain.
