If you are craving White Castle's Famous Sliders, you no longer will be able to find them on Maple Avenue in Zanesville.

The Maple Avenue White Castle has closed after seven years.  WHIZ could not reach anyone to comment, but workers were inside the store cleaning.  The restaurant's signage has been taken down.  There is also a sign posted on White Castle's front door telling customers to go to the Heath Restaurant on Hebron Road.

An accident sent multiple people to the hospital and shut down part of Maple Avenue Tuesday night.

Sargeant Chris Phipps of the Zanesville Police Department says the accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. when a red Chevy Cavalier was attempting to turn left from Cambridge Avenue to Maple Avenue. A fire at the Maple Terrace Apartments sends four people to the hospital.

Zanesville Fire Chief Dave Lacy says at around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, fire crews responded to 2746 Maple Avenue. The fire was contained to apartment #308, but heavy smoke was also present on floors four and five.

One person is sent to the hospital after a two car accident.

Zanesville police say around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday a Honda Civic was traveling south on Maple Avenue when it was struck by a Chevy Cavalier that was attempting to make a left-turn onto Locust Avenue.

The driver of the Honda was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment. Police say the driver of the Chevy will be cited with right of way when turning left.

A water main break on Maple Avenue has left some residents without water Wednesday afternoon.

The break has one northbound lane of Maple blocked off between Brookover Avenue and Taylor Street.. Zanesville City Water Department Supervisor Shane Tysinger says crews will be working on repairs through the afternoon. Public Service Director Mike Sims says everything should be back to normal around 3:00 pm.

Produce stands are bringing the farm to the streets of Zanesville.

Huston Farm is elling fresh fruits and vegetables from it's 200 acre operation.

"It's all locally grown right out here in Dresden, at Huston Farms, owners are Bill Houston and Tony Clapper, we have a stand in the farmers market and we usually tend to the Giant Eagles in Columbus," said William Marshall of Huston Farm.

A motorcyclist suffers injures after a traffic accident on Maple Avenue Thursday morning.

Zanesville Police said that just before 10:30am a Buick LaSabre driven by 76-year-old Eileen Miller of Zanesville was traveling north on Maple Avenue and was attempting to turn left into the Colony Square Mall when it was struck by a 1985 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven by 54-year-old Ronald Liggett of Zanesville.

A man is taken to the hospital following an accident on Maple Avenue Monday afternoon.

Zanesville Police Department Patrolman Joel Tignor said the man on a bicycle was riding south on Maple Avenue near Van Horn when he crashed into a 2010 Toyota Corolla attempting to turn right onto Maple from Van Horn.

The bicyclist was taken to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is asking for input on Phase 2 of the State Route 60 Safety Project.

It will be holding a meeting this Wednesday at Secrest Auditorium from four to six p.m. for all to attend.
