It's a growing complaint in Muskingum County.  Marian Thompson's horses continue to escape from her farm on Kopchak Road.

The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says the foreclosure action against Marian Thompson has been dismissed.  Assistant Prosecutor Ron LaAsmar says Thompson paid her back taxes to the County Treasurer on Friday.  Thompson owed just over 14-thousand dollars in back takes on 70 acres of land on Kopchak Road.  On May 9th, the Prosecutor’s Office filed the foreclosure action. The satellite trucks, news vans and spectators poured into Muskingum County as Marian Thompson and her five remaining exotic animals arrived at the Kopchak Road farm on Friday.

The Director of the Ohio Department of Agriculture has sent a letter regarding the conditions on Marian Thompson's Kopchak Road farm following a WHIZ investigative report.

The letter is regarding 13 calls that have been made to the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office about loose horses from the farm. Here's more information about those calls:

The are strong reactions to the decision handed down by the Ohio Division of Agriculture.

Sam Kopchak vividly remembers the night of October 18th, 2011.

He was bringing in his new horse, Red, into his barn when he noticed the horse was spooked by a loose bear on the Thompson farm.

"The bear was running around the horses, and the bear took off toward the north," said Kopchak.

By now you've all heard the story of Terry Thompson, who released 56 exotic animals at his Muskingum County farm last October. And you know the story of his widow Marian Thompson, who fought to get the surviving five animals back from the Columbus Zoo.
