Crews responded to the Philo-Duncan Falls bridge after an ATV accident this morning.  

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the male driver headed east on the bridge's sidewalk into Duncan Falls. The man's cousin, Dee Webb identified the driver as Steven Looney. 

After making it halfway across the bridge on the south side sidewalk, the state patrol said Looney hit the guard rail of the sidewalk causing the ATV to bounce and lock onto a pillar of the bridge....

A West Lafayette man is dead following an accident Wednesday in Coshocton County.

According to the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office, it happened in the 20,000 block of County Road 124.  The sheriff's office says a pickup truck driven by 44-year-old Bryan T. Thornsburg of West Lafayette was northbound on County Road 124 when he went left of center and struck a southbound vehicle driven by 33-year-old David J. Phillabaum of Coshocton.

A car slammed into a tree on Cannelville Road near Spring Road Tuesday afternoon.

The call for the crash came at approximately 2:43PM. Both lanes were closed for approximately 30 minutes and was opened back up to traffic shortly before 4PM. We spoke with Trooper T.E. Davis of the Ohio State Highway Patrol who explained what happened as the vehicle traveled southbound.

As part of the OUZ Zane State Public Safety week, Medflight 6 out of McConalsville made an appearance. Students attended the presentation to ask questions, learn about Medflight, the challenges of working in a critical emergency, as well as the experience needed to work in a mobile intensive care unit.

The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle accident that happened in Perry County Saturday afternoon.

The OSHP said two adults were transported via MedFlight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus and two children were taken to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. No other details are available at this time.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle accident in Crooksville.

According to Trooper Gregory Hurd of the Lancaster Post, at around 12:23 p.m. Sunday afternoon, a vehicle entered State Route 93 from Township Road 445 and struck a northbound vehicle. Trooper Hurd said Medflight was called to the scene, but isn't sure how many people were transported via helicopter, or where they were transported to. Three people are taken by MedFlight to the OSU Medical Center following a two-vehicle crash in Perry County.

The accident occurred around 7 p.m. on Pole Cat Road according to the Lancaster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol .

Trooper Dixon says an SUV driven by Diane Dumaret, 51 of New Lexington was traveling eastbound on Pole Cat when a pick-up truck carrying four passengers and one person in the bed heading westbound began to drift into Dumaret's lane.

Roseville, Crooksville and New Lexington crews responded to a two vehicle crash that happened around 5 p.m. on Monday at the intersection of Ridge St. and Route 93 in Crooksville.

"A blue Hyundai Sonata driven by Amanda Groves, she was on Ridge St., it looks like she was crossing the street, I haven't talked to her yet. She pulled in front a red Jeep Wrangler, 2008, that was traveling north bound on 93, she failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck by the Jeep...

The accident involving a car and truck happened around 5:15p.m. on Gene Cox Memorial Drive just east of Dresden. Fire crews and a MedFlight helicopter responded to the scene near a crop field.

"It appears that the Dodge truck was backing out of this farm field. It was in the middle of the road when the Honda came over the rise from the railroad crossing and the Honda was unable to stop to avoid hitting the truck," said Bill Duerson of The Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Authorities are on the scene of a serious accident involving a motorcycle.

It happened around 4:30 p.m near State Route 60 south and Cutler Lake Road.

Medflight has been called to the scene of the accident.
