The Ohio State Highway Patrol joins forces Monday with other members of the 6-State Trooper Project to focus on safety belt enforcement.

The high-visibility enforcement effort will include Indiana State Police, Kentucky State Police, Michigan State Police, Pennsylvania State Police, West Virginia State Police along with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Snouffer Funeral Home held their Memorial Day Service of Remembrance this afternoon.

Families and friends gathered to pay tribute to men and women who gave their lives serving our country, as well as those who continue to do so today.

With Memorial Day this upcoming Monday, local Boy Scouts set out to honor our country's fallen heroes.

The first long holiday weekend of the summer means fun, food and extra law enforcement officers.

Muskingum County Sheriff, Matt Lutz says his office has received a traffic safety grant to allow them to put more deputies on the roads during the holiday. They will be looking for drunk and distracted drivers and seat belt violations through the Click It or Ticket campaign.

 This year AAA is expecting the highest Memorial Day travel since the recession began in 2007.

Despite the rainy weather a local swimming pool opened their doors for the summer.

Monday was the opening day for the Dresden Swim Center. Manager, Samantha Mizer says today was nothing like last year's opening.
