The Muskingum County Prosecutor's Office says the Zanesville man charged in connection with a bust that netted four pounds of methamphetamine made a court appearance Wednesday.  44-year-old Walter Lee Coffee was arraigned in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court and plead not guilty to 19 counts including possession of drugs, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and money laundering. The Perry County Sheriff's Offfice released the name of the woman arrested in a Crooksville drug bust.

The female's identified as 47-year-old Kelly Sue Rambo. She's charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs a felony of the fourth degree. She'll appear Judge Dean Wilson for a bond hearing.

Additional charges may be filed when the case is presented to a Perry County Grand Jury at a later date. She's currently being held at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail in Nelsonville.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office is releasing details about a drug bust they executed on Thursday.

Sheriff Matt Lutz says at around 11:30 a.m. members of the Sheriff's Office and Zanesville Police Department's Joint Task Force raided 880 Wayne Ave. in connection to narcotics.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says an area man is facing charges in connection with methamphetamine.  The Sheriff says Robert Scheffler of 129 Brighton Boulevard is facing one count each of illegal manufacture of meth, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacturing of drugs and aggravated possession of meth.  Lutz says on January 17th officers with the Zanesville Police Department were made aware of a strong odor coming from 129 Brighton Boulevard.  The...

Authorities in Perry County are continuing to investigate the discovery of methamphetamine making materials at a home in Somerset.

The Perry County Sheriff's Office says on December 4th, the Somerset Fire Department responded to a trash fire behind a residence on West Gay Street.

The Cambridge Post of the State Highway Patrol made a major drug bust on Interstate 70 eastbound Wednesday afternoon.

According to Dispatcher Ceculski, around 1:30 p.m. a trooper pulled a car over with Pennsylvania license plates for speeding near the 174 mile marker.

A State Patrol K-9 indicated there were drugs in the car and upon a search authorities discovered methamphetamine with a street value of $10,000 and drug paraphernalia.
