A representative was there to talk about the Prescription Discount Card Program. Pro Act works with counties and municipalities across the nation to offer the program to area residents. The Muskingum County Commissioners and Muskingum County Job and Family Services reached an agreement on rent rates this morning.
The two organizations share a building at 1830 East Pike. The building is owned by the commissioners, and Job and Family Services pays an annual rent to use it. But sharing a building is just one way the two work together. Job and Family Services receives funds from the county, but thanks to new, state funds they will need a little less this year.
