The panel of jurors has been selected for 34-year-old LaFonse Dixon, the man accused in the gruesome murder of 29-year-old Celeste Fronsman of Canton, Ohio. On August 26th 2012, a driver found Fronsman on State Route 208 near Adamsville, she was covered in burns and had a strap around her neck. She died from her injuries two days later.
An appeal by Muskingum County Prosecutors Office to not retry a woman convicted of drowning her two young sons is denied by the Ohio Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court sided with an appeals court to allow the retrial of 27-year-old Kasey Klein. The State Appeals Court ruled in January that the Muskingum County Common Pleas Court wrongly denied a defense effort to have Kasey and her husband Richard Klein Junior's case tried separately.
