March Madness continues for basketball fans, but here locally, a different kind of March Madness is taking place.

This one is geared toward any and all students looking to further their education. The Muskingum County Community Foundation and Scholarship Central have extended hours for walk-ins between 4PM and 7PM Monday through Thursday. The Community Youth Foundation wants you to apply for their grant competition.

The grant has been given out for 3 years now and is open to all non-profits in Muskingum County. Director of Donor Services and Community Youth Foundation (CYF) Advisor, Juliet Lacy told us how much the grant is worth.

The Muskingum County Community Foundation's 30th annual Groundhog Day Auction is coming later this week.

The auction starts at 5 p.m. Friday at the Campus Center at Ohio University Zanesville and Zane State College. It helps raise money for the community foundation's spring grant competition.
