The Center for Seniors has a bond issue up, voters in the Village of Philo can decide on a levy for current expenses. The trial of 20-year-old Shaquille Davis has come to an end after only one day of trial.

Davis, of Zanesville, who represented himself in the murder trial of his cousin, Phillip Kimbro Jr., initiated a plea deal with the Muskingum County Prosecutor's Office Tuesday evening. During court on Wednesday, Davis pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of murder with a gun specification, one count of tampering with evidence, and one count of abuse of a corpse in the death...

A Zanesville man changes his plea to guilty to several charges including child endangerment.

The trial of 46-year-old Robert James Gates was to begin Tuesday in Muskingum Common Pleas Court. However, Gates avoided trial by entering a guilty plea to endangering children with serious physical harm, an amended count of pandering obscenity involving a minor and two counts of gross sexual imposition. A second count of pandering obscenity involving a minor will be dropped at sentencing.

Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox says 18-year-old Tiffany Ellen Peace of Schultz Street and 21-year-old Marcia Brittany-Lee Harris of Cliffwood Avenue have been charged with two counts of tampering evidence, three counts of obstructing justice and one count of abusing a corpse. 39-year-old Billy J.
