The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office said Thomas E. Moore of Roseville was indicted on several methamphetamine lab related charges Aug. 12.

The charges include Illegal Manufacturing of Drugs, a Second degree felony, Third degree felonies of Illegal Assembly of Chemicals for the Manufacturing of Drugs and Trafficking in Drugs, and Fifth degree felonies of Aggravated Possession of Drugs and Possessing Criminal Tools.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office is trying to locate a most wanted suspect.

35-year-old Clint Todd Bowen is wanted on a  felony warrant for charges of burglary, robbery and domestic violence.

Bowen is described as being 5'10" tall, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes..

His last known address is 1328 Clover Street.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz said there is no doubt that some drugs around the county have come from Mexico. 

The Sheriff's Office doesn't have a direct link between the county's drug trade and the notorious kingpin Joaquín Archivaldo "El Chapo" Guzmán Loera, who escaped from a Mexican prison last weekend.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office would like to remind the community that setting off fireworks without the proper permit and training is illegal.

Sheriff Matt Lutz said that although they can't monitor the entire 680 square miles, law enforcement will react to complaints.

Using fireworks illegally is considered a misdemeanor crime and can result in a $1,000 fine and up to six months in jail. Lutz said it all comes down to staying safe this holiday.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office has an update for us on an ongoing home invasion investigation.

The crime occurred on December 13, 2014 on Adamsville Road. Sheriff of Muskingum County, Matt Lutz said Detective Randy Wilson developed a suspect and has been attempting to locate him for questioning.

A two car injury accident occurred on U.S. Route 40 West and Kopchak Road Wednesday evening.

The call for the accident came in just after 5 p.m. Sgt. Kevin Kelley of the Ohio State Highway Patrol explained what happened.

The Century National Bank on Maysville Pike was robbed Wednesday afternoon.

Shortly after 2:30 PM, the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office and Zanesville Police Department responded to the branch near Clay Street where a man with a weapon robbed the bank.
