The Ohio Department of Natural Resources said that the victim of an apparent hunting accident has passed away.
The victim is identified as 26-year-old Adam Shinn. Monday afternoon emergency officials responded to a wooded area near 5475 French Road for a reported shooting. Muskingum County Sheriff's Lt. Mike Lococq said at the time Shinn was shot in the chest and transported to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, unresponsive.
