The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced today that an OVI checkpoint will be taking place in Muskingum County Friday, June 20.

Hundreds of area residents are walking through the night, all for a good cause

Relay for Life of Muskingum County hosted their annual event at the fairgrounds Saturday. The walking started a little after 4 p.m. and runs 18 hours through the morning. Just because you may not have been there to start the event, doesn't mean it's too late to join.

Three area counties rank in the top ten for spring wild turkey harvests.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources says Ohio hunters checked in over 16,000 wild turkeys during the wild turkey hunting season and youth hunting season that ran from mid-April to May 19.

The numbers are down slightly from 2013 when over 18,000 turkey's were harvested.
