Muskingum University is bringing back a former Muskie to coach the men's soccer team.

Chris Limle, a 2009 graduate of Muskingum, arrives in New Concord after serving as head coach at Thiel College (Pa.) for one season.

Prior to coaching the Tomcats, Limle was a graduate assistant at D-II Concord University (W. Va.) and an assistant coach at Muskingum.

During his playing days for the Muskies, Limle helped lead Muskingum to its first OAC tournament appearance.

AT&T presented a $25,000 check to the FOA that will fund post-secondary scholarships throughout Ohio's Appalachian region at Muskingum University on Friday. FOA President Cara Brook says the scholarship will be distributed to high school students who plan on attending college and to those returning to higher education.

After receiving a bomb threat at their university on Thursday Muskingum students spoke out about their experiences.

At approximately 12:45 p.m. Muskingum University in New Concord received a phone call on their 1-800 number saying that there was a bomb on the campus. Although there was no bomb found, officials from the school and local emergency agencies immediately responded by making sure the campus was vacated before closing the school down for the day.

Muskingum University in New Concord was evacuated and closed on Thursday after a bomb threat.

Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency Director Bo Keck says that at around 12:45 p.m. the school received a bomb threat via the university's 1-800 number. Officials asked all students, faculty and visitors to vacate the premises in order to facilitate a campus wide investigation.

Muskingum University  received an anonymous telephone call today (Thursday, Nov. 21) reporting that a bomb was located somewhere on the campus. The University has taken steps to evacuate. Students, staff and faculty were instructed to leave campus or to assemble at a designated off-campus site.

The University is working with Muskingum University Police, the Muskingum County Sheriff's office, and New Concord Police and Fire Departments.

Last Saturday, Muskingum freshman defensive back Dominick Williams took a punt return 74 yards for a touchdown against Heidelberg. The Muskies went on to lose the game 49-21, but Williams' play became an overnight sensation on the internet. Earlier this week, the play was named the " Play of the Week", and has been watched nearly a half million times on YouTube.

Muskingum University is adding a new University Center to campus and construction starts next month.

On Wednesday, Muskingum University President Dr. Anne Steele announced that the University Center, which is the new home of the university's library and teacher preparation program, will be a 40,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility built around the university's former library.
